Council Ends Debate Over King Edward Park Function Centre

Newcastle Council  has taken steps for forever end the debate of the King Edward Park Function Centre- they’ve began the process of changing the types of development allowed on the site.

In a vote last night, council has elected to bring its plans in line with the Land and Environment court’s 2015 decision, despite previously approving the centre.

The Awabakal Land Council has an outstanding land claim on the site also.
