A Hunter teacher has been charged with allegedly sexually touching a female student.
Police began investigating last month after receiving reports that the man touched the 14-year-old girl inappropriately during a class in April.
Officers arrested the 50-year-old man at his home just after 2pm yesterday.
He was granted strict conditional bail and will appear in Newcastle Local Court.
