Police have discovered a car, believed to have been used in a Sydney shooting, in Newcastle.
Officers located the green Daewoo Nubira on Elizabeth Street at Tighes Hill before seizing it on Tuesday afternoon.
It’s suspected the car is linked to a shooting at Lansvale on the 10th of February, where two men armed with a rifle shot a man at a granny flat.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
