Police have launched an investigation, after a serious car crash at Jewells this morning.
Two cars collided along Ntaba Road at about 10:25am, and both drivers had to be freed from their vehicles.
A 74-year-old woman was taken to the John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition, while a 65-year-old woman was also taken to hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been established and police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.
