A man’s been charged after allegedly pointing a speargun at police at Mirrabooka yesterday.
It’s understood the 43-year-old tried to enter a neighbour’s property on Mooranga Road just after 8:30pm last night.
It’s alleged the man pointed the loaded speargun at officers when they arrived on scene.
Police managed to arrest him after a short struggle.
The man’s now been charged with affray, armed with intent to commit indictable offence, assault officer and resist officer.
He’s been refused bail and will front Toronto Local Court today.
