Drinking guidelines reduced from 14 down to 10 standard drinks a week

Adults should not drink more than 10 standard drinks a week and keep it at four on any given day in order to reduce the risk of alcohol-related health issues, according to new national guidelines. Brent is joined by Professor Kate Conigrave, who is a clinician and researcher at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Sydney Medical School, the University of Sydney. She chaired the alcohol working committee which developed the guidelines.
