A seal was spotted sunbathing in Newcastle yesterday.
The Australian fur seal wandered onto the sand near the Cowrie Hole yesterday afternoon.
NSW Parks and Wildlife were there to make sure no one got to close to the seal who they say most likely ended up on the sand to have a rest after a big feed.
If the seal is there today the authorities are asking locals to keep their social distance plus a bit more from the creature.
