Upgrades On The Cards For Growing Heddon Greta, Cliftleigh Communities

Groundwork is underway to make sure Heddon Greta and Cliftleigh can meet the needs of the growing community.

The convenient location between Maitland and Kurri has seen a huge population boom over the last decade, with the area only expected to become an even more sought after place to call home.

So, Cessnock Council has unveiled a new draft plan to improve vital infrastructure, services and overall liveability.

The draft plan considers issues including the road network, service infrastructure, constraints, connectivity, and open space.

Locals can have their say on the Draft Heddon Greta – Cliftleigh Corridor Structure Plan on Council’s website until May 6.

A series of drop-in information sessions are slated for April where the community can find out more and provide input.

The sessions will be held from 2 to 5pm on Tuesday 12 April at Kurri Kurri Golf Course, 7 to 9am on Thursday 21 April at Cliftleigh Meadows District Park, and 2 to 5pm on Tuesday 26 April at Kurri Kurri Golf Course.
