April 2021 Lifeline will open the doors to the book lovers of Newcastle for a huge two-day event. With over 20,000 pre-loved books available which have been sorted into 60 categories.
Lifeline’s Book Fair is our biggest fundraising event each year and will directly help fund local crisis support and suicide prevention services. We hope to raise $30,000 from this event, which will support the cost of training new telephone crisis supporters as well as fund our local face to face and Telehealth counseling service.
With 2020 affected by Covid the event was canceled and our 5000 regular customers are eager for us to announce a new date.
The 2021 event will be held at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre Hall Of Industries and will be fully Covid compliant.
