A man’s in a serious but stable condition following a crash on the New England Highway at Ravensworth this morning.
It’s understood the 25-year-old was involved in the crash just after 4 o’clock.
He suffered head lacerations and a severely fractured leg and has been taken to the John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
The Highway was closed in both directions for some time but has since been re-opened.
Northbound traffic delays have now eased.
