Richard King spoke with John Dawson – resident of Ellis Road Waratah who is one of several people that’s homes have been contaminated by the old Gasworks site. Newcastle City Council & the EPA have begun investigations & deep soil testing at the affected properties. Residents have also formed an Action group, they have sought legal advice and left open the door on pursuing a class action.
