A man is in a critical condition after a serious single vehicle crash at Lambs Valley overnight.
It’s understood the 26-year-old was travelling south along Lambs Valley Road just before 8pm when his Toyota Starlet left the road and smashed into a tree.
A passing motorist called for assistance.
The man was taken to Maitland Airport by paramedics before being airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
Officers have established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation.
