Work’s begun on Cessnock’s first regional skatepark.
It’s being built at Mount View Park and Mayor Jay Suvaal says it’ll be the fifth skatepark in the city.
The works will include the construction of a bowl and transition elements, along with associated infrastructure with accessible facilities for wheeled sports participants.
Cr Suvall says work is scheduled to be completed in November.
