A toddler is in a stable condition after being bitten by a snake south east of Mudgee overnight.
The Westpac rescue helicopter was called to the scene at Rylestone at around 11 o’clock following reports a two year old boy had been bitten by a snake, possibly a highly venomous brown.
He was treated at the Scene before being transported to John Hunter hospital in a stable condition.
