Take a stroll down Church Street from Maitland Station to Grossmann & Brough Houses. where there is a lot to see and do from 10am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday, 13th & 14th. Visit Grossmann, the 1870’s house museum and immerse yourself in the décor and history of the Victorian era.
Brough House offers a free exhibition of photos, story boards and memorabilia from the Maitland Girls High school days including the restored girls’ hostel shower block. While upstairs, watch our weavers at their looms and see the work-in-progress of our two Artists in Residence.
Enjoy freshly cut sandwiches, scones and slices with tea, coffee or cold drinks seated in our lovely gardens. Souvenirs and our famous range of Mrs Beckets jams & preserves on sale.
